[In the end, there wasn't anything Death could do about this event. But there's something she can do now, so she picks up the phone.]

It's always worth interacting with people. It's just that fear can be a very dangerous motivator, and the town was exploiting that.

It can be disturbing. But in the end, life is an amazing thing, even if this place is pretty awful.
