Character Relations
Housemates/Death Clan | |
---|---|
Death ![]() "Husband" | |
In a notable display of the town's unique sense of humour, Death was assigned to be married to Death. She was rather surprised by this discovery. While they don't always agree on some Traditional aspects of the job, the relationship has provided something she didn't even realize she was missing. There are so many things that she's never been able to talk to anyone about that he understands. On top of that, she simply finds his company to be quite enjoyable. Recently she has started to experience some... very confusing feelings. | |
  | |
Mason Cliffside ![]() "Son" | |
Death doesn't know her assigned son well yet, but as far as she's concerned, he's in her house and that means he's under her protection. | |
  | |
Susan Sto Helit ![]() "Grandaughter" | |
Death was, in spite of everything, mildly surprised to learn that Death has a granddaughter. She finds Susan to be a very sensible young woman, though she sometimes worries about her in emotional matters. Still, the fact that she has turned out so well gives her hope. Things haven't tended to go as nicely for her siblings' children. | |
  | |
Drone!Edward Nigma "Grandson-in-law" | |
Death has known Eddie since he was born, as she knows all from her home universe. Because of this, she can't help loving him. A lot has happened in Mayfield that has given her cause to worry about him. Largely because she believes he can do better and she wants to make sure he does. Somewhere along the line, he seems to have found his way into the place in her heart heart Morpheus once held. He's a drone now. She's not pleased. | |
  | |
Li'l Slugger ![]() "Great-grandson" | |
Slugger is convinced that he's a monster, but Death refuses to believe that. She sees something worth loving in there and wants to help him see it too. The more she gets to know him, the more he seems like a real (if troubled) boy. No monster could love cookies the way he does. | |
  | |
Luke Triton ![]() "Great-grandson" | |
Luke is probably the most "normal" member of Death Clan. She suspects that the boy is in over his head. Even if he wasn't "family" she would try to look out for him. And since he is, she feels responsible for him. She thinks he's a sweet boy and would hate to see the town destroy that. She also is debating putting a leash on him. | |
  | |
Canonmates (That I Have Gotten Around to Adding) | |
Harley Quinn ![]() | |
Harley is one of hers. So far they haven't had much time to converse in Mayfield, and what time they did have was devoted to the subject of romance of all topics. She's curious what she's been up to. | |
  | |
Booster Gold ![]() | |
Death realizes, of course, that Michael is not the Green Lantern. Their conversations tend to focus on manners of life and death and people meddling in both. The amount of care he has shown for his late best friend has made it perfectly clear to her that he's not just out for fame and fortune. | |
  | |
Wally West ![]() | |
Wally's quite the likeable guy. Sure, she likes everyone, but that doesn't mean she doesn't appreciate how friendly he is. | |
  | |
Mayfield Friends and Acquaintances | |
Aurora Belle Jenkins ![]() | |
It was, of course, only a matter of time before Death met a ghost in Mayfield. She likes Aurora a lot. They have a very similar outlook on life: Namely that it is an amazing thing that ought to be enjoyed thoroughly. | |
  | |
Mart Vineyard ![]() | |
Death met Mart in the pet store. She was looking for fish food, he was looking for a snack. While she doesn't know much about Mart's father, she'll offer him what she can. | |
  | |
Ruri Hoshino ![]() | |
Questions about what is life and emotions have come up often in Death's existence. This leaves her well positioned to answer at least some of Ruri's questions on the matter. And it's always nice to have someone to have tea with. | |
  | |
Pokey Minch ![]() | |
Death met Pokey when everything was going to hell. She doesn't know him very well yet, but what she does know is that he is troubled. Whatever his past, she still hopes she can help him. | |
  | |
Crowley ![]() | |
Death is as friendly with demons as she is with everyone else. She finds Crowley particularly interesting. He's different from most of the demons she's known and that makes her want to get to know him better. | |
  | |
Cade Marsters ![]() | |
Flirting isn't something Death is entirely unfamiliar with, but it's still not the most common initial reaction. She generally finds Cade to be quite pleasant company. | |
  | |
Johan Liebert ![]() | |
Death really does like everyone. No matter how hard Johan argues he's a monster, she considers him to be worth it. It's never been her place to judge. And right now she can tell Johan needs someone who doesn't. | |
  | |
Ilsa Higa ![]() | |
Ilsa is someone Death can always count on for an interesting conversation. She hopes she will also keep her assigned husband from unleashing any further outbreaks of undead on the town. She certainly has an interesting array of knowledge. | |
  | |
Mae (The Lone Wanderer) ![]() | |
Mae is a fellow makeup saleslady, but that is is seldom the focus of their conversation. With the world Mae comes from, Death is there to provide a certain perspective. | |
  | |
Ai Enma ![]() | |
Death is drawn to Ai for many of the same reasons she's drawn to Slugger. That and of course, Ai is important to Slugger, which makes her important to Death. She really thinks the two of them are good for each other. | |
